Can a 14 year old watch a NC-17 movie in a theatre? Can they see it if they have a parent with them?

I'm 14, and recently fell in love with Dee Snider's Strangeland.
My dad doesn't have any problem with any type of movie (with the
exception of like pornographic )...my mom does, but usually, she says
yes after I beg her and brother her a few days.
Well, I was l researching about Strangeland 2, and Dee said a few
things, but I doubt it's coming out anytime soon, if at all.
Anyway, Dee said he was shooting for it being rated NC-17, and I've
heard of an NC-17 movie, but I've never seen one.
Fritz the Cat was X rated, and I only saw a little of it on Youtube.
Okay so let's say my dad went to take me to see an NC-17 movie, would
they let me in?
